What this covers

This policy covers this website and the requirement form on it. It does not cover what an installer does with your details after they buy your brief. Once a lead reaches an installer, they are responsible for it under their own policy, and you can ask them for it directly.

What we collect

When you submit a requirement

Only what the form asks for: your name, mobile number, email, city and state, property type, target timeline, and optionally your roof or ground area, average monthly bill and any notes you add. There is no hidden field.

When you simply read the site

Nothing that identifies you. This site sets no cookies, runs no analytics and embeds no third party trackers. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which include IP addresses, for operational and security purposes. If that ever changes, this section changes first and you will see a consent request before anything is set.

Why we collect it

• To check the requirement is complete and the contact is reachable, which is the step that makes a lead worth anything
• To pass the brief to installers who cover your area and work at your system size, so they can quote you
• To reply to you if something in the brief needs clarifying

We do not use your details to market unrelated products, and we do not build a profile of you.

Who it goes to

Your contact and property details go to the installers who buy your lead. That is the entire purpose of submitting it, and it is what you consent to on the form.

Beyond that, your details are shared only with the service providers we need to run the business, such as hosting and email delivery, and only to the extent they need. We do not sell your details to list brokers, advertisers, or anyone who is not an installer buying your specific brief.

How long we keep it

A requirement is kept for as long as it is useful to the installers quoting it and to any dispute that might follow, and then deleted. If you ask us to delete it sooner, we will, unless we are required to keep a record.

Your rights

You can ask us to:

• tell you what we hold about you
• correct anything that is wrong
• delete it
• stop sharing it with installers, though we cannot recall a brief an installer has already bought

Write to us and we will act on it. We will not make you justify the request.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS and submissions are transmitted encrypted. We keep the number of people who can see a requirement as small as the work allows. No system is perfect, and we would rather say that than claim otherwise.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that affects what we do with your details, we will update the date at the top and, where the change is significant, tell the people it affects.
